Our foundation
statement of faith.
As we engage deeper into community, it's important that we stand on a shared foundation. God’s Word, His truth, and a surrendered Holy Yes to His will. This Statement of Faith reflects the biblical principles that guide our study, our conversations, and our lives as we seek to grow in Christ together. Our desire is not just to learn Scripture but to live it, saying a Holy Yes to God in every area of our lives.
This is a Christian Bible Study, rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is the foundation of our study, guiding us in Truth, wisdom, and righteousness.
One God, Three Persons
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ, The Living Word
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who came to redeem the world through His life, death, and resurrection (John 1:1, John 14:6). Salvation is found in Christ alone, by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Power of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit, who convicts, empowers, and leads believers into all truth (John 16:13). He equips us to live boldly for Christ and say a Holy Yes to God’s calling.
Salvation by Faith Through Grace
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-10). It is not earned by works but given freely through God’s grace (Titus 3:5).
Water Baptism
We believe that Christian baptism is a public declaration of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19).
The Lord's Supper
We believe in communion in the presence of the Lord when the elements of bread and grape juice (the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross (Matthew 26:26-29, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25).
We do not incorporate or blend teachings or ideologies that conflict or replace God's Word.
This includes, but is not limited to, modalities and beliefs associated with New Age spirituality, such as:
- Gnostic Gospels, "Mystical Christianity"
- Manifestation and “law of attraction” teachings
- Energy healing, crystals, or chakra systems
- Astrology, tarot, or divination
- Channeling “the universe,” spirit guides, or ancestors
- Gene Keys, Human Design, or EFT Tapping
- Plant medicine, womb healing, or tantra
- Any belief that redefines Jesus as a “higher self”, christ consciousness, or general spiritual teacher
A note to those LEAVING NEW AGE SPIRITUALITYÂ
If you're in the process of transitioning out of New Age influence and into the Truth of the Gospel, we welcome you with open arms and spiritual integrity. This room is a place for truth, transformation, and support - not judgment.
You do not need to have everything figured out or be fully confident in your faith yet. What matters is your willingness to align and grow in God's Word.
As Philip Anthony Mitchell says, this is a space where you can belong before you believe.
We ask that all who attend come with a heart posture that's open to the truth of Scripture and respectful of the Christian foundation this experience is built on.
